Thank you to Newtown and Sandy Hook for welcoming Old Glory Days into town. We have been in our new location for 7 weeks and I have found the response from residents, businesses and community organizations to be very positive.
I am so excited for the upcoming programs that we have scheduled in October to invite the public into Old Glory Days. These include: "Music with Neighbors" with Rafel Sgammato, MT-BC on the 15th and 29th, and "Laughter Wellness" with Carolyn Finch, MS SLP on the 22nd. These events are open to the public and are meant to be fun, social groups for adults of all ages and abilities. Both programs have proven to be effective and beneficial to people with dementia and are offered to clients of Old Glory Days at no cost.
